The Mental Health Imperative for Extraordinary Leaders: Prioritizing Self-Care and Building a Supportive Workplace Culture
Overview: Empower HR professionals and other leaders with comprehensive
knowledge, practical tools, and effective strategies to prioritize their own mental
well-being and create a supportive workplace culture, thereby enabling them to
assess, address, and proactively support mental health needs within their
organizations.
o Identify key components of mental health and its importance in the
workplace.
o Discuss definitions and examples (for instance) of joy, grief, and trauma.
o Use mindfulness and creative expression techniques to manage stress
and trauma.
o Apply assessment tools to evaluate workplace mental health.
o Analyze the impact of global events on workplace mental health.
o Evaluate the role of organizational leadership (including HR professionals)
in fostering a supportive workplace culture.
Design a comprehensive wellness plan for the workplace.
