Join us for a dynamic seminar to learn more about Diversity & Inclusion from an expert who transformed a business from high growth/high turnover, to one that was recognized by Fortune Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For.
Diversity and Inclusion has been a growing discussion in the business community and recently been subject of new legal requirements in New York. So why should companies be paying attention to this? What is human resources role when it comes to D&I? What impacts to the organization does D&I play? This will be an interactive session discussion this very important and growing issue.
During this seminar, participants will:
1. Go beyond just the data and highlight how workplace culture can affect diversity and inclusion and how HR can play a role to help.
2. Discuss HR’s role and responsibilities related to diversity and inclusion in the work environment.
3. Learn the impact diversity and inclusion can have on recruiting, retention and the overall.
4. Understand what the #MeToo movement has on diversity and inclusion and learn how to address these potential issues.
Speaker Bio: Andrew Botwin, Esq, ACC, SPHR, MBA
Andy Botwin has over 20 years of experience working with individuals and teams from junior levels up through senior executives. Andy is a licensed attorney, has advanced education in the field of human resources and holds several commensurate licenses and certifications. Andy held positions as the top HR executive for two organizations of between 1000 – 1500 employees, respectively. Additionally, Andy has worked for a top 10 national staffing and payroll agency where he gained additional experience in recruiting, payroll, and risk management. Andy brings a unique blend of services including executive coaching, workplace culture consulting, and independent workplace investigations in employment matters together in his practice. Andy has worked with a leadership team to take their company from a high turnover organization to one that was listed on Fortune Magazine’s prestigious 100 Best Companies to Work For in the United States. As part of his practice, Andy conducts training in various areas of employee relations including workplace culture, leadership development and anti-harassment/discrimination. Andy has spoken around the country and is considered an expert in his field.
