Human Resources is in a critical position to have a significant impact on the companies they work for – today and into the foreseeable future. It is becoming increasingly apparent that HR needs to be the driving force behind how a company finds and builds a winning team to execute its business plans and strategies. As a result, HR must be involved in every aspect of their company operations to identify the opportunities that exist between people issues and their company’s profitability and growth. Once identified, HR must then initiate working with their business/leadership peers to implement the action plans that support company strategy so as to turn those opportunities into measurable business results.

The road to becoming an exceptional HR leader requires hard work but it can be easily traveled by following a plan. The foundation on which the road will be built is leadership. One of the ongoing challenges all leaders face is how to elevate their level of performance. This is especially true for today’s Human Resources professional where current economic and competitive climate demands not only the need for change but to “Lead by Example.”

Attendees will learn how leadership, on their part, will open the door to the room where the “coveted table” can be found. However finding the table is not as important as developing the credibility to be seen as a trusted advisor and leadership peer within their organization. Becoming an Exceptional HR Leader will get them a seat at every table within their company. Isn’t that the bigger goal?
